Cost, what's included, and how the Compass Fund works

Polaris Academy is committed to clear, honest pricing, and to a scholarship structure that means cost is not the reason a Navigator misses this experience.

Two-week sessions

Day program

$1,895

Two weeks · weekdays 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM

  • Cohort of 12 with a 1:6 mentor ratio.
  • Daily Constellation Deep Dive, Crossings, Open-Sky Challenge, Compass Circle, and Stargazer Studio.
  • All program materials and snacks.
  • Polaris Night family showcase.
  • Post-program letter and optional next-step suggestions.

Day program + Overnight Observatory

$2,395

Two weeks plus the optional Overnight Observatory weekend.

  • Everything in the day program.
  • Saturday-to-Sunday Overnight Observatory weekend on campus.
  • Stargazing, shared dinner, evening Compass Circle, Sunday collaborative challenge.
  • Family-included immersion (no overnight separation from a parent or guardian).

The Compass Fund

Need-based scholarships, by design

How it works

  • Apply on the same form as everyone else; tick the Compass Fund box to be considered.
  • Award decisions are made separately from admissions decisions and are not weighted into who is admitted.
  • Awards range from partial to 100% of tuition based on documented need; we ask only for what we need to assess.
  • Polaris Academy commits to filling at least 25% of seats through the Compass Fund.
Summer dates

Three sessions per summer

Each session is two weeks (10 weekdays). Sample session dates below; final dates confirmed at admission.

Refund policy

Plain-language refund terms

  • Full refund (less a $75 processing fee) up to 60 days before the session start date.
  • 50% refund 30 to 59 days before the session start date.
  • No refund within 30 days of the session start, except for documented medical or family emergencies, which we evaluate case-by-case in good faith.
  • Compass Fund awards are not subject to the processing fee.
